Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and comorbid disorders

Dear Colleagues,
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder / hyperkinetic disorder (ADHD/HKD) is the most common childhood mental disorder. ADHD and HKD may have a significant impact on patient's academic performance and their social and emotional competence if left untreated. In October 2018 a conference devoted to the research on ADHD took place in Poznań. The conference, which was under the patronage of the president of Polish Academy of Sciences and the President of Poznan University of Medical Sciences, was attended by about three hundred specialists including physicians, psychologists, nurses and patients' parents. The scientific program encompassed several current issues such as ADHD genetics, comorbid disorders, patient's school difficulties and therapeutic options. Please be informed that we invited the contributors to the conference "Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and comorbid disorders" to present their papers in a post - conference monograph. The monograph has been funded by DUN PAN and will be released at the end of 2019.
We invite you to read the monograph and hope to continue our fruitful cooperation in the future.
