The conference entitled "Stem Cells: Therapeutic Outlook for Central Nervous System Disorders" is addressed to everyone, who is interested in the latest achievements in the field of stem cells application in treatment of nervous system diseases.
Planned lecture sessions and panel discussions will allow to present the results of research both at the preclinical and clinical stage, and exchange of opinions between scientists and physicians, including the standards of stem cells preparation and non-invasive methods of transplantation.
Among latest investigations, direct intraparenchymal and intravenous transplantation of stem cells and its influence on the transplanted cells survival, migration and differentiation will be presented. Moreover, the mechanisms underlying vascular dysfunctions in neurodegeneration, the role of miRNA in mesenchymal stem cell immunoregulatory function and neurogenesis will be discussed. The most recent achievements in the preclinical field such as intrathecal repeated application of hMSC and/or muscle injection and its effect on programmed cell death, will be presented.
We believe, that the Conference provides an opportunity to present the results of preclinical and clinical studies, exchange views, ideas and technologies between excellent scientists from Polish and European leading research and medical centres.
